We are currently seeking an Experienced Automotive Detailer to join our very busy detailing team at Sunset Auto Mall on the south trail - includes new car brands Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Subaru, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo as well as a large used car inventory and two busy service shops! 

We are very busy year-round and we need someone ready to take on the challenge and earn - outstanding potential to make great income!

Detailer Duties

Your training and specific duties as an automotive detailer trainee may include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles for delivery or for customers in accordance with dealership standards
  • Using power tools, waxes, cleaning solvents, protective coatings, etc. to restore vehicles to like-new condition 
  • Performing specific duties as requested: wet sand to remove scratches, buff dull areas, removing water spots, etc. 
  • Keeping your shop area neat and clean and organized, following all safety procedures and requirements 
  • Prepare and mix cleaning chemicals on a daily basis, following all labeling and transfer procedures
  • Other duties as required 

Detailer Requirements

As an Automotive Detailer with Sunset Auto Group, you must be dependable and ethical with a good safety record and a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have a firm commitment to customer satisfaction.

Specific qualifications for the Automotive Detailer Trainee position include:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Flexibility for all types of detail work 
  • Valid driver's license and clean record 
  • Verifiable work history 
  • Ability to engage in physical work for extended periods 
  • Desire to grow and learn
